Personalized Psychological Care
Dr. Elizabeth Newman, PsyD, is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering individualized psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, and comprehensive psychological assessment services. Her practice emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs, circumstances, and treatment goals.
All psychotherapy appointments are conducted remotely through secure telehealth sessions and are 50 minutes in length.
Private-Pay Therapy Rates
- Individual Psychotherapy: $425 per 50-minute session
- Couples Therapy: $400 per 50-minute session
- Family Therapy: $425 per 50-minute session
Private-pay services provide an option for individuals who prefer to receive care without using their insurance benefits. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged and a credit card on file is required. For private-pay clients, Dr. Newman offers sliding scale rates.

Psychological Assessments & Diagnostic Evaluations
Comprehensive psychological assessments are available for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral concerns, trauma-related conditions, and other diagnostic questions.
Assessment fees vary depending on the complexity of the evaluation, the testing instruments required, and the scope of the written report. A personalized fee estimate will be provided before services begin.
Expedited Psychological Assessments
For clients requiring a faster turnaround, expedited assessment services may be available, with a completed report delivered within 14 calendar days following receipt of all required testing materials, interviews, and supporting documentation.
An additional $1000 expedited processing fee applies to qualifying evaluations. Expedited appointments are subject to availability and the clinical requirements of the assessment.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Dr. Newman works with a variety of commercial insurance plans. Insurance coverage, eligibility, reimbursement rates, and out-of-pocket expenses vary by provider and individual policy.
Medicare and Medicaid/Medi-Cal are not currently accepted.
For clients choosing to pay privately, a superbill can be provided upon request. This itemized statement may be submitted to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan’s benefits.
Please note that reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and cannot be guaranteed. Couples and family therapy may also be subject to different coverage requirements.
